Italy, Once upon a Time...
Wonderfully rich in natural, archaeological, and artistic treasures, the sub-region of Tuscia is hardly explored even by many Italians. But the very fact that it is little known outside of its immediate surroundings has reinforced its appeal to visitors who seek an ambience that recalls Italy once upon a time. From mysterious Etruscan monuments to fabulous Renaissance villas and gardens to villages perched precariously on on rocks, Tuscia offers an exciting yet tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of Rome just a short drive away.
